Another tough summer. More houses for sale, more houses empty and for rent or abandoned and overgrown. Closed retail, vacant office space. Shuttered businesses. A skitzy stock market. In every checkout line people talk lost jobs, politics, and uncertainty. It would be good to get away and forget about it all for a while.
