Going
nowhere in particular, doing ‘nothing special’ as the old longbeard said. With the windows rolled down, the open road becomes a passenger. Leaves are yellowing, some falling. The last cicadas sizzle, boiling the pot dry. Things come full circle without our having to lift so much as a finger to nudge the compass. |
